Let’s get our memory back to the finale of season five when Theon Greyjoy and Sansa Stark jumped gracefully from the walls of her family castle, Winterfell. The finale, Mother’s Mercy, also left the fate of Myrcella and Stannis Baratheon unknown, leaving us all in the darkness of disturbing curiosity.

After Endless Spoilers

Thankfully, the HBO has been so generous in leaving hints since November 2015. In the following month, another teaser trailer on Jon Snow was released. Still in December, one more teaser trailer showed Daenerys Targaryen, Cersei Lannister, Tommen Baratheon, and Ramsay Bolton in some scenes. Then, the third teaser trailer of the same month featured Bran Stark. Yes, it was Bran Stark – finally!

The HBO amazingly didn’t stop torturing devoted fans using the same method in January 2016. January was full of three teasers, each of which depicted Targaryen, Stark, and Lannister Houses. In February, we all received adorable photos of season six before two more teaser trailers showing the faces of alive and deceased characters showed up.

In March, official trailers were finally released.  Other exclusive photos were released as well. And no, the HBO hadn’t stopped yet. Behind the scenes videos were released, one after another, just before the upcoming premiere. It is no wonder that the premiere of Game of Thrones season six becomes a very much awaited upshot.

Winter in Spring

Quote: Winter is coming, but we all shall enjoy it in the spring. Yes, the premiere is scheduled on Sunday night, April 24, 2016. The HBO will have a grandeur event with a red carpet in Los Angeles.

Since season six is scheduled to premiere with The Red Woman title, our expectation will not fly higher than seeing the lovely sorceress, Melisandre. As we all know it, the woman was in Castle Black with the dead body of Jon Snow.

Rumor has it that the premier begins right where it ended in the finale of season five. Following the sixth novel, The Winds of Winter, a nomadic theater troupe sets a stage in Braavos, playing The Bloody Hand. It is about the events in King’s Landing involving Ned Stark and Cersei Lannister.

Your Very Own Red Carpet

The Braavos scene should be familiar due to the massive spoilers. The November to March release of endless short videos should have already soothed the pain of waiting for the new season of the fantasy series during the winter – or else, made it even harder for every one of us to sit waiting comfortably on the living room couch.

But no worries, just grab the sixth book, The Winds of Winter. Bookstores have made their stocks available since late March. For devoted fans, finishing the novel within a month, right before the airing of season six premiere, is surely a chosen torment – a private red carpet.

Go with the Torment

Now, here is another spoiler, an extremely brief description of the premiere, for you. Yes, Jon Snow is dead. We shall also see Daenerys with a strong man. And Cersei Lannister sees her beloved daughter again – well, if Cersei sees her daughter’s dead body, maybe calling Melisandre for another resurrection ritual isn’t a bad idea. Or is it?
